TOPTOUR grows to the next stage

　TOPTOUR CORPORATION is pleased to announce the celebration of the 50th anniversary of our foundation on January 31. 2006. And Next year 2011, we will encounter our 55th anniversary to proceed the next stage. Over 50 years from 1956, as a leading travel company, “TOKYU TOURISTCORPORATION”, former company of TOPTOUR CORPORATION, was honored to offer travel packages through our worldwide network. TOPTOUR developed as a brand trusted for it’s high quality standards.
　Since our founding, we have specialized in group trip and individual travel with a wide focus of tour interests, such as education, private sector, government and municipal offices. In the 21-century, with the wave of Global Network environments, the Internet, the travel infrastructure in the global market has changed dramatically. In this new travel environment, TOPTOUR CORPORATION has proposed our Special Interest Tour (SIT) category which can be founded on our website. Medical Tours are also part of a growing market in which we have identified. In 2010,TOPTOUR CORPORAITON “ being a “Travel Intelligence Enterprise” and creating extra value and sustainable satisfaction with our customers, hopes to grow with you as we commence stepping up to the next stage.

January, 1956 　Tokyu Tourist Corporation is established in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo with capital 30 million yen
December, 1958 　"Tokyu Tower Dining Hall" is opened with completion of Tokyo Tower
December, 1959 　General travel agency established, the first travel agency in the industry
April, 1972 　TOKYU TOURIST CORPORATION merges with Tokyo Airlines Corporation for traveling abroad, inbound Japan Travel, the selling of international airline tickets and business expansion of the air cargo transportation agency industry, etc.
August, 1972 　The Empire Tourist Corporation (present consolidated subsidiary) is established.
December, 1972 　Our brand Package tour "TOPTOUR" commence
January, 1983 　Company merges with United States overseas subsidiary, ant Tokyu Travel America, Inc. is established as wholly owned subsidiary
July, 1986 　Tokyu Travel Europe Ltd. Is established in the United Kingdom as a wholly owned subsidiary

July, 2004 　Tokyu Navision Corporation Tokyu Streamline Corporation, Tokyu Travel Entertainment Corporation are merged
January, 2006 Company name is changed with "Top tour Corporation"
